Joseph Smith was a veteran of the War of 1812. Terri Kliber reported theIndex to Roster of Ohio Soldiers War of 1812 by the Eastern WashingtonGenealogical Society, PO Box 1826, Spokane, WA shows two Joseph Smithentries- one on page 14, another on page 84. No other details are shown.We should request a search from National Archives on this. She said tosend separate inquires for pension and military information on properforms (which she supplied.)
